As a note these macros are from 2007, depending on the version of WoW you are playing you may need to adjust which rank you are casting.
Notes
- NO macro can check for: BUFFS, DEBUFFS, or COOLDOWNS
- NO macro can check for: HEALTH, MANA, RAGE, ENERGY, or COMBO POINTS
- Any failed cast attempt stops the macro from casting any further spells.
- Any spell cast without “(Rank X)” will automatically cast the highest rank of the spell you know.
- All beneficial spells will automatically reduce rank if necessary to that of a lower level target.
- Each shapeshift corresponds to a “stance.” Either Moonkin or Tree of Life is stance 5, depending on spec. Flight Form would be the next number.
- The “shifting cooldown” only applies when you are trying to deshift within the first 1.5 seconds of shifting into that form, using the special action buttons. It doesn’t stop you from rapidly shifting from one form into another (using those buttons), and it doesn’t apply to macros.
- /castsequence resets after all listed spells are cast; reset=X will reset X seconds after last activation (not initial activation).
- Spells with parenthesis in their name do not require a specified rank when casting, but do require a specified rank when using /castsequence: e.g., both /cast Mangle (Cat)() and /cast Mangle (Cat)(Rank 2) work, but only /castsequence Mangle (Cat)(Rank 2) works, not /castsequence Mangle (Cat)()
- [bracketed words] are conditions. [target=unit] is not a true condition, but casts the spell on that unit without changing who you are targeting.
- Focus allows you to “store” a target (with /focus) until you clear the focus (with /clearfocus), which can be targetted at any time (with /target focus, or [target=focus])

Arcturis is not part of any Northrendachievements. He dropsPristine Glowbear Pelt
which is a level 72 bind on equip leather chest piece with a random enchant. Like other Northrend rares, he also drops Abandoned Adventurer's Satchel, which generally contains about 20 gold, a full stack of frostweave cloth, and often times a few crystallized elements.
Arcturis is a tamable hunter pet. Please note that because he is a hunter pet that even though you may not have seen him before in Grizzly Hills it doesn't mean that he isn't already cached by NPCScan. If a hunter has this tamed pet out near you, your NPCScan will cache it. If it is cached in NPCScan and this rare is up your alert will not go off. Be sure to check and clear your cache often!
Arcturis is a spirit beast, he can only be tamed by hunters that have the top-tier talent from the Beast Mastery treeBeast Mastery which allows the taming of exotic pets.
Arcturis doesn't really have many special abilities to note when fighting or taming him. He really is quite trivial, but I recommend leaving him alone so that hunters can tame him. When tamed his special ability isRoar of Courage, exotic ability is Spirit Mend and his bonus ability is Spirit Walk.
His spawn timer seems to be anywhere between 12 and 24 hours.

Most standard animals in World of Warcraft are beasts, such as bears, wolves, raptors, etc.
Characteristics in World of Warcraft
- Nearly all beasts can be skinned, with the exception of intelligent beasts, most birds, and some insects.
- Some beasts can [Stealth], have diseases, poisonous attacks, or great speed; a few have more exotic attacks.
- Trolls have a [Beast Slaying] racial trait that gives them bonus attack power against beasts.
- Enchanters can enchant weapons with Beastslaying, which gives the player bonus attack power against beasts, and also causes their weapon to glow red.
- Not all are hostile. Some will only attack if you attack them or another nearby creature first.
- Can be polymorphed by mages.
- Most can be hibernated by Druids.
- Most can be tamed by Hunters, making them the player's pet. Can also be tracked, scared, and learned about.
- Druids who shapeshift into [Bear Form], [Cat Form], [Travel Form], [Aquatic Form], [Flight Form] or [Swift Flight Form], and Shamans who cast [Ghost Wolf] are considered beasts.
